Join us for a presentation on the benefits of urban forests by Manitoba author, Ariel Gordon, and a book reading from her non-fiction collection: Treed: Walking in Canada’s Urban Forests. Gordon is the Winnipeg-based author of two collections of urban-nature poetry, both of which won the Lansdowne Prize for Poetry. Gordon drew on her journalism and science background while writing Treed: Walking in Canada’s Urban Forests. This event is free, but donations are welcome.
