Career highlights:
- One of the most-decorated female players on the planet.
- Member of the national team since 1997.
- Ranked 4th in career points for Canada heading into this season.
- Won Olympic gold in Turin and Salt Lake and silver in Nagano.
- Has appeared in eight IIHF World Championships (five gold, three silver).
- Named the 2004 IIHF World Championships MVP.
- Named top forward and MVP at the 2001 IIHF Worlds.
- Only player to have won the Patty Kazmaier Award as the top player in U.S. women’s college hockey twice while playing for Harvard.
- Played last year with the Mississauga Chiefs of the CWHL.

- Father Cal is a sports psychologist who has worked with a number of NHL teams and Canada’s national teams.
- Mother Doreen participated in the 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics as a speed skater.
