About the Jets
Treading water of late with a 3-2 record since the all-star break, including Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Toronto... The Jets have now gone seven games without a power-play goal, going 0-for-18 over that stretch.. The definition of 'scorching' as it relates to the Jets: Bryan Little has two goals in his last three games... Winnipeg has scored the first goal only one it its last eight games.
About the Capitals
Coming off a 4-0 win over Florida on Tuesday that pushed them into first place in the Southeast Division at 28-21-4 and 60 points... The Caps have won the SE in each of the last four years... Tomas Vokoun kicked out 42 shots for the Caps in their win over the Panthers and the veteran netminder is now 22-13-1... After a slow start Washington has gone 15-9-3 since Dec. 6... Caps are 11-3 in their last 14 home games.
