Bombers on hand to meet fans at MJHL games this week
Doug Brown (WINNIPEG FREE PRESS)
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are taking to the ice — sort of.
Members of the Bombers will be at Manitoba Junior Hockey League games this week to meet fans and sign autographs. Doug Brown and Chris Cvetkovic will make a stop at the MTS IcePlex on Thursday (6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.) to watch the Winnipeg Blues take on the Neepawa Natives (puck drops at 7:30 p.m.).
On Friday, head coach Paul LaPolice, quarterback Buck Pierce, and offensive lineman Glenn January will take in the action between the Selkirk Steelers and Waywayseecappo Wolverines at the Selkirk Recreation Complex.
The game is the MJHL’s second annual Blue & Gold game. Fans planning to attend are encouraged to wear the Bombers' colours.
Game time is 7:30 p.m.
