Letter of the day: The final sound on commas

I am disappointed with Michael Zwaagstra's attack on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences (Education faculties should disappear, Feb. 3). Had Zwaagstra done adequate research, he would surely have discovered Prof. V. Borge's classic paper on phonetic punctuation, a paper that strongly supports musical intelligence by giving each punctuation mark a distinctive sound.
Borge's paper is, sadly, unavailable in print. Fortunately, it remains available in recorded form. I encourage your readers to review this groundbreaking research for themselves. It can be found online using the search terms "Borge" and "phonetic."
