Jacob Willoughby to quit as president and director of Aldridge Minerals
TORONTO - Junior miner Aldridge Minerals Inc. (TSXV:AGM) says its president Jacob Willoughby is leaving the company effective March 31 to pursue other business opportunities.
Aldridge said Tuesday that Willoughby is also resigning from the company's board immediately.
Aldrich is based in Toronto but is focused on developing the Yenipazar project in Turkey, which contains gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc deposits.
Chairman Barry Hildred said Willoughby was president for two years and "helped steer the company through a period of tremendous change and evolution."
Aldrich recently appointed Mario Caron as Aldrich's CEO to help steer the Turkish project to eventual mineral production.
Aldridge is developing mineral properties in Turkey and Papua New Guinea, north of Australia.
