Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION

Temp Tales

Temp Tales is the author’s collection of tales arising from 25-plus years' experience working as a temporary office worker. The book chronicles the difficult challenges temp office workers experience, such as the need to be flexible, to expect the unexpected, to learn quickly and the skill of working under vastly different bosses. The author openly states her distaste for the large corporate staffing agencies, their personnel and their processes. Finally, while many times the stories are humorous, there are many times where the author’s bitterness detracts from the story vignettes.
