Jets schedule leaked

A copy of the Winnipeg Jets schedule for the abbreviated 2013 NHL season has been leaked on Twitter.

While this appears to be a first draft of the schedule, the Free Press is led to believe opponents and dates will not change from this draft, although start times might.

The Jets will play 24 games at the MTS Centre. Three games appear to be cut off the schedule, including one home game -- likely in the first week of April.

Interesting to note is the Pittsburgh Penguins will be in Winnipeg twice, while the Washington Capitals will be here three times, including on back-to-back nights in March.

The Jets open against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, Jan. 19 at MTS Centre and close out the regular season against the Montreal Canadiens at home on Thursday, April 25, according to the leaked schedule.
