Street reopened after serious collision

The area around York Avenue east of Main Street has been reopened to traffic after police investigated a involving a car and a cyclist this morning.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. near the corner of York Avenue and Main Street, police said.

One man was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The Winnipeg Police Service is still on scene investigating.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the accident or with any information about the incident to contact investigators at 204-986-6271.
