Transcona business robbed

Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help after a commercial robbery Saturday night.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Regent Avenue West shortly before midnight after two armed suspects held up a business, received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured.

The two men are described as Caucasian. One is 35 to 40 years old, 6-feet tall and slim with short brown hair. The other is described as 5-10 with a medium build.

The investigation is continuing by members of the major crimes unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
