Army humanist

In this Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 photo in Fayetteville, N.C., U.S army Maj. Ray Bradley displays a personal addition to his dog tags. When Bradley enlisted in the Army in 1986, no one much cared that he was an atheist. Bradley is currently applying to become the first designated humanist to be a lay leader of a religious group at any military installation, and he's seeking to overturn an official ruling that he can't be identified as a humanist on his dog tags or official records.
